Kindergarten through grade twelve schools should expand opportunities for inclusion for special education students in order to increase their education, general lives, and increase the overall acceptance of those with disabilities.
Plan of Action:
Schools should stress the need for plain language that way all students can understand what is happening.
Offer more imagery and visual things for students to learn off of instead of reading words that they cannot understand.
Graphic organizers can help disabled students easily understand the topic on hand at the moment.
Limiting jargon, acronyms, etc. can allow all students to learn equally and at the same pace.
Simplicity is key when it comes to the education of those who are disabled.
Schools need to learn to accomodate so that all children can have equal opportunity to a proper education.
