"This project is also a huge step outside of my comfort zone. I tend to be more on the shy side, and talking to adults has not always been easy for me. Despite my fears, I have spoken to everyone professionally and pushed aside my shyness. I still get worried every time I have to meet and speak with a new adult though, for instance meeting the special education teacher over at the Jordan Jackson was a hard task for me to do, but if I faked a confident personality, it tends to overcome me."

"I believe that by the end of the class, my project will be something I can be very proud of. I hope that my project may make students more willing to be even more friendly and inclusive with special education students. I hope that next year, the inclusive trend will continue so our special education students can feel as accepted as possible."

"I was never discouraged by anything though because I knew that my mentor Mrs. Cunio would help me figure out something new for me to do. She was really helpful to be able to work with because I did not know all of the special education students personally, and she helped me know whether or not those students would actually enjoy some friends to sit with and what kind of students her students would enjoy to sit with."
